Charaple Gallery Call For International Group Show “Heroes Last Waltz”
After the world’s stars like David Bowie, George Michael and Prince passed away and Clinton lost the election we lost some of our happiness. I hope new super-heroes can give us inspiration again so we’re inviting artists to share their character animations, drawings, or writings to spread a positive message.
Image Size: Under 24 x 36 inches. 2 piece maximum.
Sculpture: Sculpture is limited no larger than 20″x 20″base and no taller than 3 feet (under 44lb)
Animations: Under 10 minutes
Stories: Book, binder, or digital format
Message: Character or story with positive message
Medium: Open call to all arts media
Delivery: International and National Shipping
Include return label inside the box.
All Art work must be ready to hang. (Except Sculpture,book and animation)
Submissions due: Jan 2-25 (Extended), 2017
Shipping: Feb 6-13
Drop up : Feb 12-13
Pick up : Feb 22-23
Opening: Feb 18, 7pm-9pm
Show: Feb 18-22

The artist must include in their application:
– Artist Bio/Statement
– Title and dimensions of their original artwork (must not exceed the dimensions of 2 ft (24 in) x 3 ft (36 in)) and website (if applicable).
– Price Sheet of artwork (keep in mind that the artist gets 60% of sale, Charaple gets 40%)
- Send 1-2 image files (Title, Medium,Size, Material Information Included), bio and Artist Statement. If you are an animator send video link, bio, two still image files from the video and synopsis. If you are a writer send your book or blog link, bio and synopsis.
- Send application fee via Paypal (This fee will be used for the opening and artist support program)

**All artwork must be original artwork. Any altered art pieces that are subject to copy written laws will not be accepted.**
